I thought I would write a brief synopsis for each book I ahve read so far (all the way through). That's four in total.
Deja Dead:
Temperance is faced with several bodies all bearing identical marks. This leads to Temperance's belief that the murders are the work of one sick man/woman. Her beliefs are not shared however with everyone who is working on the case. Luc Claudel needs convincing. Tempe looks over the bones and finds more evidence.
She is faced with terrible danger and worry. Her best friend becomes involved. Finally, after a traumatic time, the serial killer is brought to justice.
Death du Jour:
Tempe starts off in a convent somewhere.
The next morning she is faced with news of a horrific house fire.
It's suspicious. When she arrives, she is shown the bodies.
More bodies turn up in strange places.
Even when she's on a break with her daughter. Another body.
Her sister becomes involved. It seems like some satanic cult.
At the end, she recognises the leader.
Deadly Decisions:
She descibes a girl lying on the table.
This girl has been caught up in a gang war. The Outlaw Motorcycle Clubs or OMCs are fighting and Tempe has landed in the middle of it. Bodies are uncovered in various places. Tempe's nephew gets friendly with a reporter who is introduced by one of Tempe's friends. He becomes involved.
The SQ are on the case and Brennan helps with the case again.
Fatal Voyage:
She gets call about an air accident and is asked to attend the scene. She follows procedure and on her break discovers something. Because of this discovery, she is banished from the site. To clear her name and uncover the truth, she must delve deep into evidence. Luckily, she has the support of those around her. A colleague becomes involved. Tempe is in danger again.
The secret comes out that there is some sort of cannibalism going on and influential people are party to it.
Enjoy reading!
