Somehow it feels to me, that Claudel is getting more friendly with Tempe book by book. Have you notice the same or is it just my imagination.

First time I was noticed it in Deadly Decisions when Tempe though that Ryan was bad. In my mind before that he was quite nasty to her.

yeah he was to start with, though his exact attitude is hard to remember as i have not read the books for a while, i remember in the few one or two thniking he was mean and then by the last few thinking he was okay but apart from that.

I just get from library Death du jour. I'm going to start reading all Kathy's books again. I have Deadly Decisions and Grave Secrets already and one way or another I'm going to have other books as well. So now I'm going to concentrate about Claudel was he really so mean as I was remembering.

I believe he is initially skepticial about how much use her work can bring to a case. As it goes on, he begins to realise that he has a lot of respect for what she does and cooperates more and more.

Somehow I feel that he was more than that. He was suspicious and maybe a bit jealousy about Ryan. You can call this maybe woman's instinct.

Maybe, that's certainly something to think about. Luc jealous of Andrew? Would everything be down to jealousy? I would say myself it would be more to do with male ego than wanting Brennan.

I didn't mean that he is jealousy about Brennan. I was trying to say that Claudel and Ryan use to solve crimes more or less together, and now there is also Brennan, that kind of jealousy I was meaning.

oh you mean like booth in the TV series when Brennan went off to do an investigation with a different FBI agent after he shot the Ice Cream van (i think), though i have not seen the next one yet she did arrange to go out for dinner with him? Anyways to do with the work relationship rather than the love side of things.

No I didn't mean that either. This is so difficulty to put on words. What I meant was it feels to me that Brennan is like the third wheel between those two guys. They use to work together and now this woman comes and mixed it up. That kind of thing, does this make any sense or is it just woman's logical?

Maybe it's more or less female's life. You use to have one best friend and then there comes somebody. Maybe you can think that it's much funnier threesome but it never goes so in women's word. One of those three is almost always left alone. This is just an example I don't mean that goes with Claudel and Ryan. I feel like more I try to explain what I mean, less sense it have.
