For all of us who are English, you may notice that some of the terminology or expressions are different to what we understand. As is known, Kathy Reichs is american and therefore the variance of language in the books can be attributed to american english, which has its obvious differences to british english.
Those of you who are american and are well used to speaking in that way may not notice the differences so much if at all.
Does anyone see the meaning of what I am highlighting. Perhaps we should list explanations of what each differing word means.
I learned to say while looking at some of revision that 'bangs' means 'fringe'.
This is an example of what I am referring to.
Plus american and english have alternate spelling of identical words.
